A thanksgiving service for a new book, God Leads Us to Sing New Songs: Manual of PCT Hymnal, was held at Taiwan Church Press and Chi-Nan Church of Chi-Hsin presbytery on April 9th and 13th respectively. Through praise and worship, the thanksgiving service aims to show the abundant significance of PCT Hymnal. Edited by TTCS Publishing House and published by Taiwan Church Press, Manual of PCT is introduced by Rev Dr Loh I-to and Rev Lee Ching-hsing to share why and how the book is written with a distinctive significance being diverse, ecumenical and inclusive.

After a Devastating M7.7 Earthquake Swept Across Myanmar, Taiwan Frontier Association Rushes to Deliver...

On March 28, an extremely shallow earthquake erupted in Myanmar yet with a powerful magnitude of M7.7. Utterly damaged of a building, named the Heart of Mandalay, where the education center of Taiwan Frontier Association is located. Fortunately, all teachers and students are safe, and they are temporarily relocated to the home of the missionary couple, Rev Guang Fu and Rev Wey Ei. At present, their garage is used as an assembly space to worship.

The Indigenous Condemn the Irresponsible Budget Cut by KMT and TPP Lawmakers

On March 27, representatives from the PCT Indigenous Mission Committee and various ethnic district assemblies gathered at Shuang-Lian Church of Chi-Hsin presbytery to attend the seminar, entitled as "The Impact to the Indigenous After Irresponsible Budget Cut in Congress”sponsored by Association for Taiwan Indigenous Peoples' Policies.

Fulfilling Citizen Duty, a 97-year-old Mother of Pastor Signs to Recall KMT Legislators

Mrs Zeng Chen Li-rong, a 97-year-old mother of pastor, showcased her keen interests in citizen movement. Recently she went to the recall station at Chi-Nan Church of Chi-Hsin presbytery and signed the second phase statement to recall those unfit KMT legislators. Recall volunteers took photos of her participation and uploaded to social outlets online, attracting thousands of attentions from the public.

PCT Works with Forward Volunteers to Forge Rock-Solid Shelter for Emergency Response

To strengthen the capability of Taiwan churches to respond in events of emergency, a basic training camp entitled as “Forward Volunteers” was held at Education Ministry Committee of Chi-Hsin presbytery in the morning on March 15. Many pastors and co-workers of local churches were invited to participate.
